The presented studies have been dedicated to Professor Maria Kalinowska, whose publications concern such historical and literary issues as Romantic existence, the Antiquity of the Romantics, philhellenism, travel. In a way, the articles reflect the interpretative interests of the Professor, and the layout of the book reflects the three areas that can be considered crucial to her research path.
